He's grown up on the Wind River Reservation as part of many different cultures: Northern Arapaho, Chicano, and Anglo. He paints with passion, drawn from the cultures he is a part of.
His ability to sharp the ideas and subject matter of his world through his painting has taken him to shows in the halls of Congress and he has been awarded Peoples Choice awards, as well as awards for Painting & Drawing through numerous Art Associations. The Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian has one of his drawing in their permanent collection. The Wyoming Arts Council honored him as a Roster Artist.
Many of his works depict things of beauty in his culture. Most often he portrays the kinds of people he knows: Native Americans, cowboys, trappers. He lives in the "West" and so, most often, he paints what he knows.
